The team at YK Communications is thrilled to announce that they have chosen a student for the FRS Youth Tour.
YK Communications is a member of NTCA - The Rural Broadband Association. As part of this membership, YK Communications chooses one student to send to Washington, D.C., for an expenses-paid trip.
Andrew Lucio, a 17-year old student from Tidehaven High School, was selected for the trip. Lucio has grown up in Markham, Texas, and has continued to forge ahead as an achiever. A member of the FFA, drama, debate, UIL, student council, and other organizations and athletics, Lucio has shown that he is driven to excel in personal and professional endeavors.

According to Russell Kacer, President of YK Communications, “I am thrilled to announce our selection for this year’s FRS Youth Tour. Andrew is a model student and community volunteer, and we are excited that he has the opportunity to enjoy this unique experience.”
When he travels to D.C., Lucio will enjoy four days of exploring the area while participating in a forum where students from rural communities interact with each other as well as legislative, regulatory, and government figures.
Congratulations, Andrew!
