Although the COVID-19 pandemic has many businesses shutting down, we are still on schedule and continuing with construction on Zone C in El Campo.  Backbone cable is being pulled through the ducts from Humphrey to Edgebook Streets.  The placement of duct and handholes along with the customer drops on Willow Creek begins this week.  General construction and the placement of drops for Area 1 should been completed by the end of next week.

Splicers have started working in Area 1 splicing the backbone cable to the customer drops.  This process will take 2 to 3 weeks.  After areas have been spliced, customers will be contacted to mount weatherproof boxes on the outside of their homes.  Installations should begin for Area 1 in the later part of April.
